Quantista

Motivation
Quantum physics is everywhere in our lives, even if we hardly notice it. Your smartphone, the LEDs in your lamps, modern medical technology, batteries and GPS only work thanks to quantum physical effects. Nevertheless, it seems abstract and intangible to many people. That is precisely why education is important: quantum research is not a distant topic for experts, but shapes our everyday lives. Those who understand it can better comprehend new technologies and confidently participate in discussions.
But how can one learn about these topics without struggling through formulas or crying over textbooks? This is exactly where our project comes in! We want to use card and board games to teach quantum physics in a playful and accessible way.
Goals
The Quantista project aims to offer the general public an easy introduction to the world of quantum physics and quantum technologies, making them tangible and understandable. The project is aimed at all poulations and age groups and offers simple and entertaining card games for the whole family, as well as complex and exciting board games for gaming enthusiasts.
Innovation and Perspectives
QUANTista combines current research topics with playful learning. Instead of merely explaining abstract concepts, the game brings quantum science to life through strategic decisions, teamwork and competition for technological breakthroughs. This creates an innovative approach to a complex topic that arouses curiosity, encourages critical thinking and imparts knowledge along the way.
